Roasted green tea milled into a fine powder. This houjicha powder has a nutty, cheerio, sesame like taste. By roasting the tea leaves, it burns off almost all the caffeine the tea contains. Many in Japan drink houjicha, as it is more gentle and contains less caffeine than regular green tea. This powder is delicious in lattes and desserts and is best when paired with milks.
